so the Italians are acting as a "snitch" and no one bothers to mention how the Italians have actually ended up in this position because someone else like RedBull and Mercedes snitched on them last year. It was the usual Ferrari backroom deals that ended Vettel's career. They had no intention of renewing his contract and coming from someone like Binotto that is originally an engine designer turned into team boss is quite bitchy to say the least. Binotto had contended the team boss position with Arrivabene and at the tie Ferrari didn't want to lose his expertise however here we are: 1 F1 champ leaving, engine scrutinised, failed seasons, a rookie with a 5 year contract that for all we know might do F all in the next couple of years especially now with Sainz as a team mate, Verstappen with an improving RB, McLaren with 2 good drivers and Mercedes PU and obviously the ever dominant Mercedes. Dark days for Ferrari ahead and at least now no one can point at Vettel and his 4 WDC. All eyes will be on the Harry Potter look alike and his only magic trick (making a fool of the team each race weekend)16-05-2020 19:20

Alonso would join Renault even just to stop Vettel from finding a seat as payback for having replaced him at Ferrari. Truth be told Vettel is better off not driving than ending up in a team like Renault. McLaren was a more viable option with steady progress each year especially since they will have Mercedes PU from 2021.14-05-2020 11:41
